Summer Activities - Rock Climbing
Rock Climbing and Mountaineering
Vail, a valley surrounded by rugged peaks, offers great climbing experiences for climbers of all levels. Multiple top-rope and multi-pitch routes are located throughout the valley, as well as several climbing walls, guided climbs and classes. Favorite spots include East Vail and Wolcott, and Lionshead Climbing Wall at the base of Vail Mountain.

The Beaver Creek Climbing Wall is a safe and exciting challenge for the entire family. Conveniently located at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, this 25-foot wall offers a variety of routes to the top. Each climber is safely roped to a state-of-the-art belay system, and wall attendants are always on hand to assist with strategy and to give climbing hints.
